Folio Davinci is founded upon the singular mechanical vision of Dale C. Murley. Murley sought to bridge the gap between 15th-century theory and modern expression. He studied the manuscripts of Leonardo da Vinci not merely to replicate form, but to decode the geometry of motion. He spent years translating ancient ink studies into kinetic reality, refining the delicate interplay of gears and balance. The resulting works established a new standard for mechanical art, capturing the imagination of discerning collectors.

His debut creation, the autocar, earned a cover feature with Hammacher Schlemmer and an exhibition at their flagship New York location. Entrusted with Murley’s original blueprints, Folio Davinci has set out to bring the concepts from this archive to the world, and to evolve them.
